“This was a fantastic activity! My friend and I enjoyed a private tour which started with swimming with the dolphins. Our guides were so knowledgeable and spotted them very quickly! We then had a beautiful breakfast while getting to know our guide, Mohammed, who had a wealth of knowledge about Zanzibar. Swimming with the turtles was a huge highlight and the turtles seemed very happy and content. Mohammed and our driver, Sharif, gave us plenty of time and made sure we didn’t feel rushed at any time. “The guide and driver were great. Despite the fact that the itinerary was already designed, they adapted to our wishes. The trip itself - wonderful! The view of the dolphins! Snorkeling and a bunch of beautiful fish - wonderful! The boat trip itself! Visit to Jozany forset, where you walk through the forest and look for monkeys! Wonderful! Kuza cave and the possibility of swimming in it - very refreshing after a hot day - a brilliant idea of the itinerary designer, so that you can cool down a bit at the end before lunch. We did not go to the Rock restaurant, we preferred to eat at Paje beach…”

“The tour sounded promising, but overall, it was disappointing. We spent over 1.5 hours at sea without spotting any dolphins. While we understand this is a matter of nature and luck, the boat ride itself was also quite rough and not particularly enjoyable. The Salaam Cave was beautiful and definitely one of the highlights. However, we were not informed that our time there would be limited, which was a bit frustrating. The next cave we visited was nice to look at, but there wasn’t much to do once you’d seen it. But I ended up losing track of time feeding the big turtles and taking pictures with them. Then we headed to Jozani Forest, where we saw monkeys that only live there and learned about some plants. It was really interesting. Finally, we went to Kuza Cave. It was dark and a bit scary at first, but the water was clear and clean. It was a cool experience with a mysterious vibe. “Geweldige gids Abdul. Hij en de chauffeur heeft ons naar alle plekken gebracht en we hebben alles kunnen zien. het hoogtepunt was toch wel de dolfijnen. We waren helemaal alleen op zee. Geen drukte van bootjes met toeristen erin. Een hele groep van wel 40 dolfijnen zwommen onder ons en wij hebben ze mogen zien. Ze zwommen naast mijn zoon, onder en naast hem. “Our guide Abdul really made this day a party. We started with the trip to see dolphins and we were lucky to see a whole group and to be able to swim with them. Abdul gave a great explanation and also said in advance that if there were too many boats it would be too dangerous to swim. Fortunately this was not the case. Here we visited the sea turtles which was a very nice experience. The Kuza cave is also an experience in itself, swimming in a cave filled with fresh water, wonderful.
